In game one of the Citrus Series of the 2023 season, the Rays found themselves in prime situations early to take advantage of a big situation — which they capitalized. Yandy Diaz hit a double that scored two runs in the 2nd inning. The pitching held the lead throughout the entire game, and struck out a combined 10 Marlins hitters.

Tyler Glasnow for the first time since late 2021 dealt seven innings in a start, and has been rolling. Final line for Glasnow tonight was 7.0 IP, 2 hits, 1 run, 2 W, and struck out 8. He talked with reporters postgame on what was working for him on Tuesday night:
